A wonderful aromatic plant, related to oregano, since they belong to the same genus Origanum. Dittany is a natural herb of Greece, and specifically of Crete, known since antiquity for its important healing properties.
It has many beneficial and healing properties, since according to Hippocrates it acts as antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-hemorrhagic, wound healing, diuretic and against gastrointestinal disorders.
